Our Green Moon range is the result of crackled enamelled stoneware production.
This enamelling technique, developed in Asia in the 16th century, is entirely handmade in China. To achieve this finish, the ceramic pieces are immersed in water directly from the oven. This significant thermal shock leads to the appearance of cracks and the different shades of the colour.
The cracks, the colour and the final shape of each piece depends on the temperature, the length of time in the oven, the thickness of the enamel and the mode of application.
Due to the reactive glaze, no two pieces are alike. The earth tone and the natural, organic shape will bring an absolute uniqueness to your table.
